Sandhill Cranes

They graze like cattle, and a wonder to see in flight. If you look close you can see the little one. During the summer, this is a common site in rural southern Wisconsin. Taken near Dousman.

I just loved the sea of yellow with the backdrop of the tree line.

Through The Cat Tails

Fresh snow, naked trees, and mountains, most call it winter.

A beauty that has to be felt as well as seen.

The light plays with the water and trees, creating an ever changing delightful spot.

For to many years to count I have had the pleasure of counting this among my favorite spots.
