About The Pictures

The pictures are called digital art, created from pictures that I have taken. At the end of an hour or so, I either have what looks like a pile of mud, or something that shows a little emotion or movement to the piece. There are links behind the ones on the bottom to give a little more info of the locale of each. Have fun with them.

A Bit Of Blue

The reflection of light, it plays upon the land.

A hint of blue adds so much to a white sky.

Cave Art

Lehman Caves at the entrance of Great Basin National Park.

Huge rooms, small tight passages, low ceilings, and a surprise around every corner.

Through The Willows

Not always a clear view, sometimes things get in the way.

As with many things, we have to see beyond the willows.

Rush Hour

Downtown Dousman, rush hour.

This is about as busy as it gets, in Dousman.

The sad part is, we take it for granted.

Time Passing

Just outside of town, a bend in the road.

If these wall could talk, what would they say?

Deadwood

All I could think of was beached whales.

The snow on her back, she still commands a presence, even in death.

The Grand Canyon

When I talked to a Park Ranger, he told me of a recent land slide. And pointed it out, happened over 5o years ago.

Here time is measured in the tens of thousands of years. Change takes place slow, and yet it changes before your eyes. The colors move, shadows appear, a cloud changes the mood. It will never be repeated.

Lake Mead Low Water

Again on Bobs road. An old trail of sorts, that lead here. The white is the water level of old. Thats a 150 foot drop.

Near Great Basin National Park

Bobs road my wife calls them. Turn down there she says, so I do. At the end of the road we found this building.  Cold, windy, dusty and I had to get the shot.
